Small onboarding fixes and improving landing page ideas

What I worked on today

• Low energy and no mood to fix onboarding, so I only did the essentials.
• Added a loading spinner and disabled states for the next button.
• Users can probably still skip steps if they act fast, but it’s good enough for now.
• Improved the OpenAI prompt for guessing the company industry, allowing users to simply confirm pre-filled selections, making onboarding faster and easier.

Lessons learned

• Sometimes, small quality-of-life improvements are enough for a day’s progress.
• Automating onboarding inputs with AI predictions reduces user friction.

Challenges faced

• No real motivation to work on onboarding today.
• Onboarding still needs improvements, but good enough for now.

What’s next

• Spend time on the landing page, which currently feels half-baked.
• Incorporate new UI elements and highlights to make the landing page feel more complete.
