Fixing Stripe webhook and Docker setup, improving monitor management

What I worked on today

  • Went with the flow, but mainly struggled with Stripe webhook and Docker setup.
  • Finally got them fixed after some frustrating debugging.
  • Didn’t make progress on the monitor activity feed, but worked on monitor management by adding dropdowns and modals for editing and deleting.

Lessons learned

  • Stripe webhooks can be tricky to debug, but once configured correctly, they provide reliable transaction tracking.
  • Docker setup issues can be a major productivity drain—proper documentation and understanding the environment helps.
  • Lack of social media engagement is something to be more mindful of to improve visibility.

Challenges faced

  • Spent too much time debugging Stripe and Docker issues.
  • Didn’t get around to improving the monitor activity feed as planned.
  • Missed opportunities to tweet or engage on social media.

What’s next

  • Shift focus back to the monitor activity feed.
  • Plan and schedule social media updates to avoid neglecting outreach efforts.
  • Ensure Stripe webhook remains stable and test further edge cases.
